My job, whether you're interested in a personal, professional, or love shoot, is to make you feel all of these things. I want to spend time curating a shoot that fits who you are so you leave viewing yourself the same way I do. Are you the most comfortable at home? Do you have a favorite bar or coffee shop? You'd just prefer to be on a trail somewhere in the middle of the Tennessee hills? Me too. Let's integrate the details of what makes you, you, into these photos! Being in front of the camera can feel super weird. Believe me, I'm setting up my own tent in that camp. I get it. Give me the opportunity to make you laugh, relax, smile, and leave me being the most awkward one in the room so you end up with photos you can be proud of. We had seen quite a bit of Sarah’s photography and always thought she did awesome work, so when we were thinking about doing a photoshoot as a couple there was never really a doubt that we wanted to work with Sarah. Even though we’ve known her for some time I was still a little unsure exactly how the shoot would go; was it going to feel awkward doing poses or whatever other things for pictures? My uncertainty was entirely unfounded and unnecessary, as our time with Sarah was completely casual, relaxed, and honestly just a lot of fun.
